Gepfeffert V1 with adjustable camber dome bearings
The gepfeffert V1 with adjustable camber dome bearings is mounted plug and play in the vehicle, without using original installed suspension components with. The chassis with adjustable camber dome bearings have compared to our gepfeffert KW “small depth versions” (without camber dome bearings) an even greater “scope” for even more lowering and even more upgrade options to be able to adjust the vehicle even more individually to the requirements of each driver.
Example Golf 7 GTI:
- Series KW coilover suspension: adjustment range 20-45mm (without camber dome bearing)
- GEPFEFFERT KW “small depth version” (without camber dome bearing): adjustment range 35-70mm
- GEPFEFFERT KW with adjustable camber dome bearings: adjustment range 45-95mm (upgrade possibilities with other spring systems up to 130mm possible)

The KW coilover suspension variant 1 “inox-line” is the ideal entry-level system for customers who want to determine a technically maximum possible or an individual lowering themselves. In elaborate driving tests, our experienced engineers have developed a setup that is suitable for the target group by determining an optimum balance of sportiness, comfort and safety and have implemented it directly in the series.
The gepfeffert.com® V1 coilover suspension made by KW
Variant 1 “inox-line” has a vehicle-specific, permanently configured damper setup with a sporty, harmonious set-up so that you experience an optimum balance of sportiness and everyday usability when driving. Even with full payloads and maximum axle loads, the dampers always operate with a sporty characteristic curve.
KW Variant 1 allows maximum or individual lowering in the tested adjustment range. Thanks to the dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread and the polyamide threaded ring, the stepless lowering can be varied quickly and easily even after years.

This version offers more lowering range than the normal KW version.
The Product is a version that can achieve lowering beyond the KW standard lowering adjustment range. Due to vehicle-specific tolerances, additional work & modifications may be necessary on the vehicle. Any of those arising costs incurred in this regard these will not be borne by KW automotive GmbH or StillStatic Limited
After installation of coilover suspension, the clearance of drive shafts and the wheel/tyre combination to any kind of safety relevant parts, must be checked in all driving and max. load conditions.
If necessary, the vehicle ride height must be adjusted higher or the rebound suspension travel must be additionally limited. In any case, however, the legally specified minimum ride heights on the vehicle must be observed (direction indicators, light beam angle etc calibrated).
