    The StillStatic caddy beam is something we've been developing since first owning a caddy in 2004. With over 12 years of modified caddys we are well experienced in the pitfalls of the fixed rear beam with extreme lowering of a 2K caddy, such as exhaust clearance, petrol tank clearance, wheel centre and wheel offset issues, side load door clearance the list goes on.. while some do overcome this with a narrowed rear beam set to a fixed width, or by installing a maxi straight beam to clear the petrol tank on swb models the same problems of lopsided wheel fitment and ultimately how the van drives as the end result are still an issue. Our beam resolves every element from an engineering solution and can be used as a static set up or converted to air. What is so special about our beam ? Based on a twist beam our beam is narrowed overall by 40mm and put back to standard track by spacing of the hub, this allows for fine tuning of camber, toe, and offset change. The beam when narrowed is checked to be completely equal so as to help eliminate the offset wheel fitment commonly seen on many caddys. No petrol tank clearance issues so no need for the straight beam. The original roll bar and drop links are retained both when used as an static set up of air. Option of retaining original damper, we recommend our improved H&R shortened harder damper but other options available. Height adjustable hub, by moving the hub position upto 100mm you can visually lower the rear height without changing the fixed beam position. Track adjustable , as the beam is narrowed and put back to stock track width by changing spacing between end plate and beam the overall track can be increased allowing better wheel clearance gaining the ultimate tuck on the rear wheels. Camber/toe adjustable, by changing the spacing between end plate and beam. Wheel center adjustable forward/back to center in arch built into the lowering shackles. When used as an air set up the wheel position is moved to its highest point with leaf swappe and a single below bag is installed between chassis rail and beam, this overally gives a much more compliant controlled rear seat up helping to overcome " beam float" the side to side movement seen on caddys when lowered. This kit is only available for short wheel base caddys not the maxi but we can make a custom maxi beam on request. End plate brake kit options of 330mm twin caliper kit 356mm twin caliper kit or stock brakes, only available as part of the beam kit not available for standard beam. we have proven the beam is effective and used it out own caddy with as both a static set up and converted to air for 3 years.

    The gepfeffert V2 with adjustable camber dome bearings is mounted plug and play in the vehicle, without using original installed suspension components with. The chassis with adjustable camber dome bearings have compared to our gepfeffert KW "small depth versions" (without camber dome bearings) an even greater "scope" for even more lowering and even more upgrade options to be able to tune the vehicle even more individually to the requirements of each driver.   Example Golf 7 GTI:
    • Series KW coilover suspension: adjustment range 20-45mm (without camber dome bearing)
    • GEPFEFFERT KW "small depth version" (without camber dome bearing): adjustment range 35-70mm
    • GEPFEFFERT KW with adjustable camber dome bearings: adjustment range 45-95mm (upgrade possibilities with other spring systems up to 130mm possible)

    The KW coilover suspension variant 2 "inox-line" is the suspension for the experienced sports driver who wants to make adjustments to the setup in addition to lowering the vehicle individually. The individually adjustable rebound damping ensures better connection on fast road sections and easier vehicle control. In addition, rolling comfort on bad roads can be significantly influenced with adjusted rebound damping.

    3 - Front and rear axle height adjustable (threaded shock absorber housing on the front, dampers, springs and height adjustable elements on the rear).
    5 - Stabilizer bars may need to be changed with longer ones if lowering more than 40mm.
    6 - If the right drive shaft diameter of more than 42 mm, the maximum lowering mentioned in the catalogue is reduced by 15 mm.

    21 - If the vehicle is equipped with a stock sport suspension, the lowering mentioned in this catalogue will be relatively lower.
    24 - During the installation of suspension set the clearance between tire/rim and suspension strut shall be checked. The minimum allowed gap is 5mm (0,2 inch). Otherwise use certificated wheel spacers.
    73 - For easier height adjustment, we recommend removing the rear adjustment, changing the position of the spring plate and reinstalling the adjustment on the car.

The suspensions without adjustable top mounts have up to 35mm more lowering, compared to a standard KW coilover suspension. Example Golf 7 GTI:

    Gepfeffert V1 with adjustable camber dome bearings

    The gepfeffert V1 with adjustable camber dome bearings is mounted plug and play in the vehicle, without using original installed suspension components with. The chassis with adjustable camber dome bearings have compared to our gepfeffert KW "small depth versions" (without camber dome bearings) an even greater "scope" for even more lowering and even more upgrade options to be able to adjust the vehicle even more individually to the requirements of each driver. Example Golf 7 GTI:
    • Series KW coilover suspension: adjustment range 20-45mm (without camber dome bearing)
    • GEPFEFFERT KW "small depth version" (without camber dome bearing): adjustment range 35-70mm
    • GEPFEFFERT KW with adjustable camber dome bearings: adjustment range 45-95mm (upgrade possibilities with other spring systems up to 130mm possible)

    The KW coilover suspension variant 1 "inox-line" is the ideal entry-level system for customers who want to determine a technically maximum possible or an individual lowering themselves. In elaborate driving tests, our experienced engineers have developed a setup that is suitable for the target group by determining an optimum balance of sportiness, comfort and safety and have implemented it directly in the series.  

    The gepfeffert.com® V1 coilover suspension made by KW

    Variant 1 "inox-line" has a vehicle-specific, permanently configured damper setup with a sporty, harmonious set-up so that you experience an optimum balance of sportiness and everyday usability when driving. Even with full payloads and maximum axle loads, the dampers always operate with a sporty characteristic curve. KW Variant 1 allows maximum or individual lowering in the tested adjustment range. Thanks to the dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread and the polyamide threaded ring, the stepless lowering can be varied quickly and easily even after years.

    This version offers more lowering range than the normal KW version. The Product is a version that can achieve lowering beyond the KW standard lowering adjustment range. Due to vehicle-specific tolerances, additional work & modifications may be necessary on the vehicle. Any of those arising costs incurred in this regard these will not be borne by KW automotive GmbH or StillStatic Limited After installation of coilover suspension, the clearance of drive shafts and the wheel/tyre combination to any kind of safety relevant parts, must be checked in all driving and max. load conditions. If necessary, the vehicle ride height must be adjusted higher or the rebound suspension travel must be additionally limited. In any case, however, the legally specified minimum ride heights on the vehicle must be observed (direction indicators, light beam angle etc calibrated).     The KW coilover suspension variant 2 "inox-line" is the suspension for the experienced sports driver who wants to make adjustments to the setup in addition to lowering the vehicle individually. The individually adjustable rebound damping ensures better connection on fast road sections and easier vehicle control. In addition, rolling comfort on bad roads can be significantly influenced with adjusted rebound damping.

    With the KW coilover suspension variant 2 "inox-line", you can influence the handling and comfort yourself as an experienced sports driver through the individually adjustable rebound tuning.
